Life can often feel overwhelming, and I’m glad you are here seeking support. We all have strengths and inner resources, but sometimes our ability to access them is clouded. Sometimes we believe an old, limiting story about who we are or how we are supposed to be. Sometimes we just feel stuck. In therapy, we will shift the focus toward creating your preferred story, allowing your authentic self to emerge.
If you are considering psychotherapy, you are very likely someone who values personal growth. It can be hard to evolve when the past is casting a shadow on the present and making the future you desire seem distant and impossible to reach. Life can feel more difficult than you ever expected – success can seem unattainable, relationships can suffer, and connection can often feel elusive. I have the life experience and clinical training to help. Together we will hone your ability to cope with the challenges as you become the creative and vibrant person you would love to be. You will have the attention and support you need to understand, process, and regulate your emotions. With compassion and patience, I will encourage you to explore new possibilities as you build a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
My approach to therapy is warm and direct and integrates various modalities tailored to each client individually. I collaborate with my clients utilizing wisdom from narrative and solution-focused therapies, psychodynamic and attachment theories, and mindfulness and behavioral techniques - always maintaining a space of curiosity, non-judgement, and positive regard.
